When choosing a GI doctor for your screening colonoscopy, there are two qualifying criteria: adenoma detection rate (ADR) and cecal intubation rate. As one of Orlando’s premier GI specialty centers, the Center for Digestive Endoscopy is proud to share its quality scores with patients.
The national average ADR is 25 percent for men and 15 percent for women. Our gastroenterologists have an overall average ADR of 32 percent. This exceeds the national average by 8 percent and surpasses many GI specialists in the Orlando area. Our gastroenterologists also have an average cecal intubation rate of 91 percent, compared to the national average of 90 percent.
